It was the concert titled Vars & Kaper DeconstructiON, performed by Paweł Kaczmarczyk and Dorota Miśkiewicz in ICE Krakow Congress Centre, to inaugurate this year’s edition of Jazz Juniors International Exchange. On the first day of auditions held in Zet Pe Te club, we could listen to two bands: Judyta Pisarczyk Ensemble and Organic Noises. The cycle of side events accompanying the festival, organised together with Harris Piano Jazz Bar, was launched by NSI Quartet.
Due to the resignation of Giulia Facco 5tet (Italy) from the Jazz Juniors International Exchange, the band will be replaced by Vibe Quartet (Poland).

Answering numerous requests to postpone the deadline for the SHOWCASE the organisers of Jazz Juniors International Exchange are glad to inform that the final deadline for submission of your applications has been postponed to 16th October 2017.
For reasons beyond the control of the organizes, the dates of auditions for contest and showcase of Jazz Juniors International Exchange has changed. The festival will be held from 3rd till 6th of December in Kraków.
40 years since its beginning, Jazz Juniors Competition is transforming into the Jazz Juniors International Exchange platform. Composed of a competition for débutantes and a showcase for professional musicians, the project focuses on promotion of jazz artists: both young and already appreciated on international stages.
